Let's go walk

Compass points north. Shadow points south. Repeat and remember! From the north of New Zealand to the south. Everything packed? Here's another blog about another hike. Who's reading that anyway? If at all it's just molesting other people a with a false dream or a lazy way to avoid personal conversations with family and friends. It's the authors poor narcistic attempt to draw attention to what he does while not providing detailed enough information about trail, gear or anything but his random experiences. 3000km left to figure out why I'm writing this. Stop reading, do something!

(0-100km) Walk the line

Lots of sand. There's a thousand different shapes and patterns. Sand flows across the ground like water. Dead seal, wild horses, possum climbing my tent at night. I'm literally the first person sitting in the shelter at bluff campsite. Seconds after Steve built the benches. Pooring rain. Remarkable big shells on the beach. Remarkable boring walk. Tourist bus passing by, gazing at me. I'm gazing as well. The only person that I meet hands me half of a fresh caught Kawai fish. Sun, sand, seagulls. Someone gives me a cookie. I did the beach!
